2.4.6 9:33–35 Moses is proved correct in his comment in v 30. Once again Pharaoh reneges on his promise and hardens his heart when the plague ceases. In light of the discussion of vv 13–19, we should note that Moses has agreed to ask YHWH to remove the plague so that Pharaoh will know ‘that the land/earth is YHWH’s’ (v 29).
